Thank you for choosing Sails and Trails. We strive to provide you with a unique experience. To ensure fairness and clarity, we have established the following refund policy regarding boat rentals.
Reservation confirmation
Upon booking, you will be sent a confirmation email with details of your rental. Please review this information carefully to ensure accuracy.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations made at least 4 days prior to the rental date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made between 3 -2 days prior to the rental date will receive a 50% refund of the total payment.
Cancellations made less than 2 days prior to the rental date will result in forfeiture of the total payment amount.
In the event of adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel rentals with a full refund.
Damage and Liability
All renters are responsible for any damage incurred during the rental period. A damage deposit may be required at the time of rental.
If damage occurs, the cost of repairs will be deducted from your deposit. If the cost exceeds the deposit, additional charges may apply.
Weather policy
In the event of adverse weather conditions that make the boat unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel your rental. Customers will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and a full refund will be issued.
Early returns
If you choose to return the boat earlier than the scheduled rental period, no refund will be given for unused rental time.
Policy changes
Sails and Trails reserves the right to modify this return policy at any time. Customers will be notified of any changes prior to the rental date.
